High School Musical 3

High School Musical 3 right now, I can say, you have to watch it. There's no doubt that you shouldn't, that's if you watched the first 2 installments (and yes i did watch the first 2). But if your short on cash and would rather spend your time watching something in the movies more entertaining then forget watching this.

Breaking it down one by one:

Story
There's not anything except its senior year. The gist in this installment was just to put a lid in the story lines which were not really hanging. They were just optional. Rather than living things at that, they extended it so that it has sort of final end to the term "high school." Most of the story just picked up from the recurring themes in the previous ones, as to where the Troy Gabriella love will end up? Is Sharpay up to her no good twisted way just to get ahead? Not much really went to the story lines as I've first said they just put a lid on it.

Characters
The story involved more of the other supporting characters which was good but of course the two lead love pair had most of the center stage through out the movie.

Music
Due to the fact that it is a musical production, it means that the movie shouldn't be treated by the story lines itself but also its quality of music since both are only half and half of a real musical movie. But high school musical 3, again, failed to surpass its first 2 installments. Out of 10 songs, there were only probably 3 that was good enough to be a pop song or hit the music charts (its for teens and kids, so it has to be pop right?). What lacked in the songs were the lyrics, they didn't sound as if it was a whole song, like it was only music made from scratch and not really made to hit but only to add up to the list of songs for the musical ...a little bit rushed.

Visual and Cinematography
This is one of the good points in High School Musical 3. When watching it you'll feel like its actually a musical, like you're really in a theater. But then again, if you felt like it should be more of a movie rather than a theater musical you'd be disappointed.

Verdict?
2 frapblends out of 5
It's a teen musical for cable tv. Why do people have to pay more for it now? When you start it of in one form of media, finish it there. Don't get all greedy because it was a hit.
